This past weekend we went to Boerne for Hudson's first roadtrip. We left Saturday morning and got to his parent's house just in time to see Jon's cousin Chris and his son Colin. We then got to see Uncle Kevin and Aunt Terry. Jon's mom babysat Hudson Saturday evening for us so we could go to our friend Cris's birthday party. We had a good time at the party catching up with friends and Mimi enjoyed her one on one Hudson time at the house! Sunday was another busy day for Hudson and he got to meet Larson, Chris, Aunt Debbie and Cousin Erica. We also had a birthday lunch for Jon and Grandma, Marna and Bailee also came over for that. Hudson got to see his first horses and when he gets a little bit bigger, I'm sure his Popo will be letting him ride some of the horses. We brought our pack and play with us and Hudson did pretty well napping and sleeping. Our friends Kyle and Briana also just gave us a take along swing that they are finished using and it was also very helpful to have with us. Sunday on our way home we stopped in New Braunfels to see the Campbells. They moved there this summer for Spence's promotion. We were able to have dinner with them and play with Will and Kynlee for a bit. It was great to see them. We finally made it home around 10pm and were super pooped! It was a good first roadtrip for Hudson and hopefully we have some smooth ones in November too. We will be headed to San Angelo, back to Boerne and then somewhere for Thanksgiving....phew! We'll be busy!
