Julie was in town with us for the third week and it was so great to have her here! Sat, Sept 25th was Alana and David's wedding so Julie babysat Hudson so we could go. They had an afternoon wedding and early evening reception and we actually stayed the whole time. It was nice to get out and not have any worries about Hudson at all because he was with an awesome babysitter!
This was Jon's first week to go back to work, so it was nice to have Julie here! We tried to get out each day and do something different. We made some shopping runs to Target, Babies-R-Us, Kohl's etc. We had lunch one day at Chili's for a mid-afternoon margarita which was quite tasty after not having one for like 10 months!
One afternoon, Julie and I took some really cute pictures of Hudson sitting in the belly cast that Jon and I did of my prego belly. He was so happy and cooperative and it was so funny to see him sitting in the belly cast...maybe he felt like he was back at his first home :)
Julie cooked us some great meals, went grocery shopping for us and helped with things around the house. Most important of all though, she gave Hudson lots of attention and snuggles all week long!
Thursday evening, my dad came to town to spend the night and get some Hudson snuggles. It was so good to have him here! Friday we went over to Angela's to play with her girls and to see our cousin Ashley.
Friday evening Jon watched Hudson and Julie and I went out with the girls for Margaritas at Z'Tejas. Before we left to meet the girls, Hudson's umbilical cord fell off...yay!! He's got a cute belly button now!
