We were supposed to have a second baby shower for Julie in Austin the last weekend of October, but a couple of days before her shower she was put on bed rest! Her doctor told her she could absolutely not travel anywhere. She was really bummed out and disappointed. So, my mom, Hudson and myself took the shower to her! We collected some gifts from people and headed to Corpus for the weekend. It was so great to all be together and I really think it helped lift her spirits! Another highlight of the weekend is that Hudson started to officially walk! Up until that point he would take anywhere from a few steps to maybe 10 steps and then fall down. Saturday morning while Julie was showering, we decorated the apartment really fast and then we had her come in for the shower. I was doing the decorations anyway, so I just brought them all with me. I even had already made some of the snacks. Mom picked up some cupcakes in Corpus, and we were good to go!
Hudson LOVED playing with his Aunt JuJu this weekend. They had lots of giggles together. She also let him check out her iPad and he thought it was really cool!
Hudson also loved hanging with his Shu Shu and even helped her cook dinner.
