This weekend was supposed to be Julie’s baby shower in Austin, but her doctor put her on bed rest and told her she couldn’t travel (more on that later), so me, my mom and Hudson headed to Corpus on Friday, October 28th and spent the weekend with Julie and Jarrett. Hudson must have been saving up his walking debut to make his Aunt JuJu smile, because he really started walking all over the place this weekend in Corpus. I was excited of course, but bummed because Jon wasn’t with us to see it in person. So, I naturally did what any proud parent would do, I took a ton of video to share with Jon today when we got home—which was a good birthday present, because today is Jon’s birthday. I am normally not very prompt at putting videos on my blog, but I knew the grandparents who didn’t see his walking in the flesh would be excited and anxious to see these videos. Yay Hudson!! You are getting so big and you are so smart! Love you!!!
