Now that I’ve discovered the new and fun way to blog I’m ready to get caught up to speed. March was a great month filled with many firsts for Hudson. We went on a ton of walks after work since the weather was so fantastic. He tried many new baby foods and we think he will be like many kiddos that love to swing at the park. Mom and Gene came up one weekend and we saw a Cirque du Soleil show and had a great time catching up with them. I know it’s only been a month or so since some of the following pics were taken, but I feel like Hudson has already changed so much!
Not sure what upset him….his frowns were quickly replaced by some grins
After he quit using his pacifier he went through a quick phase of sucking his thumb, but he’s since moved on and doesn’t do either one
Starting to use a sippy cup. Turns out he actually likes the one with a straw better
Surprisingly he doesn’t mind wearing his hat or sunglasses at all
We have many nicknames for Hudson and when we can see him asleep on the video monitor with his little butt sticking up in the air, we called him Diaper Booty. He’s got just such a cute little diaper booty and this particular night, I snuck into his room to catch a couple pics of our precious Diaper Booty. (FYI: the other two nicknames we use the most are Punkin’ Pie and Bubs)
We stopped in New Braunfels to see the Campbells on our way home from the beach
Trying peas for the first time. Turns out he’s not the biggest fan of his green veggies…I can’t blame the kid. Most of the baby foods that he’s tried do not look or smell very appetizing!
Catching my mom being his other paparazzi. Of course I’m his main paparazzi :)
With Mom and Gene before Cirque du Soleil and then me and Hudson having lunch with Mom at Gloria’s
Enjoying our neighborhood park
Walking with my favorite boys and more time swinging
Turns out that all of the orange colored veggies are his favorites…carrots, sweet potatoes and squash. Yummy!
Talking to his Mimi on the phone. He’s such a ham.
These pictures melt my heart. I’m so happy Jon snuck in to take a picture of the sweet snuggles I was getting from him this night. There was a period of a few weeks back in March where he would lay on my shoulder right before bedtime and it was just so precious. Now he’s moved on from this stage and is Mr. Busy Body. Looking at these pictures just makes me want to tear up with happiness. I love this little boy so much.
