Last month we met Jon's parents at the San Antonio Zoo on our way to visit my grandparents at the beach. Neither one of us had been to a zoo in forever and it was really fun to have our first of many trips to the zoo with Hudson. (Taking him to the zoo was something I had been daydreaming about since we were pregant). Even though he's still pretty young, I could tell he was able to see the different animals. He especially noticed the animals that were moving around a lot like the birds. It was a beautiful day and it was fun to spend a few hours with Jon's parents before hitting the road to drive down to Port Aransas. I'm sure we'll be making many more trips to the zoo in the future because we have a feeling Hudson is going to love animals....but I guess all kids love animals :)
The porcupines were my favorite of the day. They cracked me up for some reason!
