Okay, I first have to say that I LOVE these pictures of Jon and Hudson reading together. They are some of my absolute favorites.
These are from last week sometime and it was during the evening and Hudson was super alert. We've been trying to read a few books to him each night and sometimes he is more aware than others. This night he was so alert it was like he really knew we were reading a book to him and showing him the pictures. You can see him totally looking at the pictures and he was loving it! He was all smiles and full of coos. It just makes me so happy to think of the many nights in our future where we will be reading books to Hudson at bedtime and I just look forward to it so much.
When Jon was reading to him, he was super tuned into the book. When I was reading to him, he was a little more tuned into me which is cute. I guess he's all about his momma right now since we spend so much time together. Oh, and sorry for my rough post-shower/pre-bedtime appearance :)
I think these might be my favorite pictures, and that's saying a lot, because I love them all!
