Hudson's 2 Month Dr. Appointment

We went to see Dr. S on Monday for Hudson's 2 month check up. He did great and was tough for his first round of shots. Here are his stats:

Weight: 11 pounds 2.5 ounces -- 45th percentile

Height: 22 1/2 inches -- 30th percentile

Head Circumference: 40 1/2 cm -- 60th percentile

Throughout his second month, here are some of the things he's been doing:

• Loves hanging in his crib watching his mobile and kicking his piano pad at the end of the crib
• Doesn't like tummy time as much in his crib or on the floor, but likes it when laying on my chest
• Head and neck control is getting better and better. When he sits in our lap he will turn his head from side to side checking out his surroundings
• Coos back and forth with us and smiles all the time
• Has discovered his hands and checks them out
• If he gets upset he likes to be sung to in his ear or shhh'ed really loudly and bounced/walked around
• He's more engaged when we read books to him and is interested in looking at the pictures
• Knows his mommy and daddy's voices
• Still likes his paci and to be swaddled and is also sucking on his hand more
• Starting to sleep 6-8 hour stretches starting around  7 or 8 pm and then wakes up around 3 to eat
• The morning time is his most alert and happy time of the day
• Feeds every 2-3 hours in the AM and then it spreads out in the PM
• Likes his bath and we usually bathe him every other day or so
• Likes to hold his O-Ball and likes toys that make sound
• Still likes to nap in his swing for anywhere from 30 minutes to 3 hours!
• Really likes to look at baby faces in books
• Starting to not like his car seat at all until we can get the car moving
