Two weekends ago we took Hudson to San Angelo for the first time so he could meet more family and friends. We had a great weekend and enjoyed seeing everyone. He travelled very well and slept most of the way during both car rides. Friday evening my mom had a couple of her good friends over and my grandparents for dinner. I was SO excited for my Mimi and Papa to finally get to meet Hudson. He enjoyed some lovin' from both of them all weekend long.
On Saturday, we had some friends and family come by my mom and Gene's house to meet Hudson. The Lewright clan came over and Hudson was exposed to some silly girl time. Poor little guy was all burrito'd up and couldn't do much about all the girl attention (I know he probably loves it!) And I know we'll have lots of fun times with the Lewrights in the future and I'm sure Hudson will love the attention from Grier and Ardynn.
Saturday afternoon we ran by my Aunt Retta's house to see more family and we were able to catch Aaron and Kayla at the end of her bridal shower. Saturday evening we had dinner at my dad and Susan's house and Susan's mom, Karen came over to join us. Afterward we took Hudson back to my mom and Gene's and then we went over to Brittany and Brent's house for some good adult hanging out time. Our tired hubby's sacked out on the couch and floor while Britt and I enjoyed some late night talking and catching up.
Sunday we enjoyed a great breakfast at mom and Gene's and then we later headed to lunch with Dad and Susan. Before heading out of town we went by Mimi and Papa's for a little more hanging out.
It was a fabulous weekend home and we'll be excited to go back around Christmas time and on New Year's for Aaron and Kayla's wedding.
