Some great days outside!

Having a sales job where I work on the weekends is tough because Jon and I do not have a day off together at all. We've definitely adjusted over the past few years, but of course miss our time together. So, we try hard to have at least one or two days off together each month where we can just hang around. Last Monday Jon was off work for President's Day, so I took the day off just to hang with him and Hudson. We slept in (as much as you can with a 5 1/2 month old), Jon made blueberry pancakes, and then we went to Shady Grove for lunch--our favorite! Afterward we went to the Zilker Botanical Garden to walk around and Hudson decided he was too tired for the garden and slept through it all. It was a great day with my boys!

Last Wednesday Hudson and I spent the afternoon hanging at Angela's house with her, Ainsley and Emery. I didn't think we'd be able to stay that long because he would need to go home for a nap, but she suggested letting him nap there, and he took a 2 1/2 hour nap in their pack and play! So it was a great day to play with the girls and catch up with Angela. We also put Hudson in their swing (his first time) and also played on a blanket in the yard for awhile. (Thank goodness for the little sample of upcoming Spring weather so we could spend some nice time outside!) Then that evening at home, we spent more time playing outside with Kaiser and then I put him in the Bob for his first stroller ride without having to sit in his car seat. He liked it much better and he enjoyed resting his cute little footsies on the stroller bar.

We are looking forward to some great times with Hudson doing all kinds of fun outdoor activities this Spring. Next week we are taking him to the San Antonio zoo and to the beach in Port Aransas to see Julie, Jarrett, and my Mimi and Papa! We can't wait!!

You might be able to tell that he is blowing rasberries which is his favorite hobby here lately!

I loved looking down at his cute little head while we were walking and he was just chillin' and hanging on to his foot which was pretty cute!

Modeling his new sunglasses and hat for the beach next week
