Maternity Clothes shopping with Mom

Right after we told our parents we were pregnant, my mom was like "I want to take you maternity clothes shopping!" to which my thought was...."I'm not ready for that! I know I'm going to be getting bigger, but that's not for awhile, right? So check back with me in a bit once I've wrapped my brain around all of this!"

So then we flash forward a few months where clothes are tight and starting to get uncomfortable. So, I called mom and said, "Okay, so you know how you said you wanted to buy me some maternity clothes awhile back?....Well, I'm ready now!" So, she came to town Monday night and spent the night and then yesterday we had a great day of shopping. We tried to make sure everything we got for me was versatile...things that I could wear to work and things I could wear on my days off. We ended up getting a lot of dresses which I think are going to be my most comfortable bet for the summer heat. It was a fast trip but I had a great time with my mama and appreciate her so much!
