On Saturday, May 1st, Jon's parent's hosted a great shin dig at their place. There was no particular reason for the party other than they wanted to have one. They put a lot of time into getting things ready around their place and everything turned out great. Jon's dad plays guitar with a couple friends and they have a little band set up and so they were the entertainment for the night. Jon's dad mailed him the music so Jon could learn some of the songs they were playing. It was great to see family and some good friends too.
