I love sno cones!

When it gets hot outside, I tend to crave a good sno cone. I think it's because as a kid we grew up getting Sno Cones from Alex and Sylvia's Tropical Sno Cone stand every summer. My personal favorite was the Tutti Fruti and Julie loved the Banana. We were so grossed out that they had a flavor called Pickle Juice....ooh gross! But anyway, as an adult, my love for the sno cone has not died. There are some good places in Austin to get one (my favorite is Casey's New Orleans Sno Balls on 51st and Airport) but there are not any stands to be found up in the boonies of Leander and Cedar Park. That is, until today! I found one earlier at Crystal Falls and Old 183 in the parking lot of the car wash place we go to. They don't open until 1pm, so you can bet I'll be headed there later to give it a try....I'll probably get 1/2 blue rasberry and 1/2 blue coconut. We'll see if they are as good as Casey's New Orleans Sno Balls....
