This past Tues/Wed I went to Corpus for some sister time. I was just craving some good quality time with Jewels and so I headed there after work Monday night. Tuesday we packed our lunches and a cooler and went to Port Aransas for the day and had good time on the beach. I'm sure we put on a little show for the people nearby, because when we were packing up the car, we couldn't get two of the lawnchairs to fold back up (I guess the water/sand combination got them stuck) and so we had to set one of the chairs in the backseat of my accord still opened up completely...it was pretty funny and I saw the guys next to us giving us some weird looks! Afterward we stopped by a cool little bar that we love on the beach called the Port A beach lodge and had a couple beers. Tuesday night we chilled at home with Jarrett and ate pizza and watched a movie. Wednesday we had lunch with Jarrett and got pedicures and sno-cones and then it was back to Austin. I had a great visit with them and I can't wait for the day that Julie and Jarrett live nearby!
