In August, Hudson and I went on our first road trip alone to see my sister and Jarrett. The drive went okay, but it was longer than normal since we had to make multiple pit stops. I was nervous about driving 4+ hours with him by myself so last minute we decided not to leave Monday after work as planned. It was just too close to dinner, bath and bed time for him and would have been partially in the dark. So instead we got up early Tuesday and drove there. Since I’m off during the week, Julie took a day off and we went down to just get some good hanging out time in. It was way too hot to even think about going to the beach, but we did take a dip in their pool. We also did some great shopping for Baby Girl Eledge! I am sooo excited for Julie and Jarrett! They are going to be wonderful parents and it is going to be awesome to have a little girl in the family and a cousin close to Hudson’s age. My sister and I have always dreamed about having babies around the same time and raising them in the same area. Now that the baby part is taken care of, we just need to work on her and Jarrett to get them to move to Austin! ;)
Julie already has Baby Girl’s crib, so Hudson was able to nap and sleep in there at night which was awesome! Looks like he loved hangin’ in his cousin’s crib!
We are having Julie’s baby showers in Austin and San Angelo, so the next time we’ll be headed to Corpus is when baby girl arrives in December! Can’t wait!!!!! Thanks for a fun visit Aunt JuJu and Uncle Jarrett. We love you guys!!!
