A couple weekends ago Mom and Julie came into town to help us with any last minute things we needed to do to get ready for Hudson. They were offering their services to clean, shop, organize....you name it. Ultimately we ended up having a great girls weekend (sprinkled with some good Jon time too). We did some shopping, went to see Eat, Pray, Love at Alamo Drafthouse, they washed all of Hudson's things, organized and put them away and we did a lot of hanging out and catching up. On Saturday, Jon had made sure that Mom and Julie would get me out of the house for a big chunk of the day so he could have our house cleaned which is something we've been talking about for awhile but haven't done. It was such a nice surprise to get home Saturday afternoon and have everything all clean and I was really surprised!! Thanks to Mom and Julie for coming in for the weekend...it was so nice to have them here and to help with some of the last minute baby prep.
