Hudson Update and Baby Bump Pics

Baby Hudson is growing fast and so am I! Here are pictures from the month of June and part of July. I have to comment though on how hilarious it is that almost every single week when we take our belly pictures, Kaiser has to be in the picture. I promise that we don't plan it or call him into the room...he just always comes and stands near me. He just likes to be around us and it cracks me up that he is in almost all of these belly pics! He just wants to make sure he is included :)

We are now going to the doctor every 2 weeks for check ups and this past Friday we had an ultrasound so our doctor could get a feel for how big he is. She is estimating that he already weighs about 4 lbs 5 oz! She said he's looking great. I am still feeling pretty good but starting to have uncomfortable feet by the end of the day and having normal things happen like more frequent heartburn and getting out of breath easily. Getting around is starting to get a tad awkward with the growing stomach. I am feeling him move and kick all the time and speaking of that, I think he has the hiccups right now! We are making great progress on getting his room ready. We've painted the walls and Jon has installed chair rail and crown moulding. Jon just needs to paint the last coat on the trim and we'll do some touch ups. Then it's time for furniture and decorating! We are taking some classes at our hospital about child birth and we've had 2 so far and have 2 more to go. It's been some great info and we are really glad we are taking them. This next class we are going to talk a lot about pain medication options and epidurals, which I am very happy to learn about because the thought of the pain involved does freak me out a little bit! :)

I have moments where I feel like the upcoming weeks are going to fly by and he's going to be here before we know it, and then I have moments where I feel like it's going to be forever until we get to meet him! We are both so anxious though to meet our little boy!!
