Lake LBJ

A couple weeks ago Jon was able to take a Wednesday off and we were able to go to Lake LBJ. Tuesday night we hung out with some of our friends from work to celebrate Courtney's 30th Birthday and had a great time! Us girls enjoyed sitting on the deck and talking while the guys enjoyed sitting in the water and talking and they even got all of the dogs to get in and join them for awhile. Kaiser wasn't too interested in getting in the water, but he was pretty content hanging out on top of the float with Jon. Wednesday morning we were able to go out on the boat for awhile with our friends before leaving around lunch time to head to the other side of Lake LBJ to spend the afternoon and evening with my Aunt Brenda and Uncle Curtis. That morning Jon was able to try wake surfing for the first time and really liked it. At one point, Roger tossed Jon a beer and you can see the pics below that Jon caught it, opened it and drank some all while on the water still. Pretty talented! Then we headed over to the other side of LBJ to see the family. This is the third year that they have rented a place on the lake and Jon was actually able to come with me this time. We had a great time cruisin on their boat, Jon did some wake boarding and we had some good catching up time. Kaiser loved the boat ride too, but didn't enjoy his time in the water as much. We had a great time and were glad to be able to hang out with both our friends and family!

And we wonder why Kaiser is so spoiled...
