Is it time for a doggie door?

I don't think we really would get a doggie door, but lately the thought enters my mind because of how much our pets like being in the back yard. Each morning when we get up, Boots is waiting by the back door to go outside. And on beautiful days like today, I just leave the back door cracked while I'm home and will usually find Kaiser and Boots soaking in the rays or relaxing in the shade.

Today, I found Kaiser basking in the sunlight and tried to take a few pics. He caught me though and I guess he felt busted or something because he got up and came inside. You can see his little progression... (click on the picture to make it bigger)
