We headed home to San Angelo for the 4th of July weekend. My Dad has been getting our family reunion up and running again these past few years out at our family’s place on the river in Christoval. With the extreme heat and a 10 month old in tow, we decided not to camp out there so we stayed the nights in town at my mom’s house. One of our cousin’s in town from Arizona unfortunately was bitten by a rattlesnake a the Monday before the reunion! My great-uncle flew into town to quickly get him to the E.R. and he then Bo had to spend 4 or 5 days in the hospital. Luckily, he is doing fine and is going to be okay, but it is still very scary! I thought I was going to be freaked out and scared once we got to the river because of the rattlesnake, but we all felt pretty safe. We had a great time hanging by the river and ate some fantastic fresh catfish that was caught in the river. We also enjoyed time at my mom’s house and were able to see my grandparents for dinner one night. On Monday morning before heading back home we stopped by to see the Lewright family for a couple of hours and got to spend time with Brittany, Brent, Grier and Ardynn. My oh my, how fast these kids are growing! Hudson and Ardynn did some special picture posing for us in the lawn….future romance in the making??
Hope you all had a fantastic 4th of July!!

Hanging out in Mom’s backyard by the river on 4th of July morning. Such a fun time letting Hudson play before the day started to heat up. Love these pictures we got of him too!
A quick visit to see the Lewright Gang. He LOVED playing with their drum set and Grier even started a little music parade through the house.
